Product Quality Control Using QCC, FMECA and RCA Methods at PT Tirta Sukses Perkasa

Quality control is one of the keys to success a company. PT Tirta Sukses Perkasa manufacturer Bottled Drinking Water (AMDK) that strives improve quality its goods in order satisfy customers. The goal be able identify elements can affect product failure or defects produce results meet consumer expectations. This study find main problem excessive by using Control Circle (QCC) approach. next stage analysis uses Failure Mode Effect and Criticality Analysis (FMECA) approach examine thoroughly setting highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) then analyzed Root Cause (RCA) root cause lead defective products. QCC five types 600 ml bottle were found dominant factor bottom silver defect with total 378 FMECA have RPN value on 432> 324, which means it very critical risks incurred are unacceptable. RCA include several factors, including human machines, raw materials. Recommendations for improvement form SOPs machines sorting materials before production process always monitoring operators.
